Is this a do it yourself AI phone tool?
No. This is a managed service. Sharifah AI configures and tests the receptionist using the business information, approved responses, links, preferences, and call instructions you provide. You do not have to build the receptionist by yourself.
Do I need a website?
No. Your business information can come from your Shopify store, social profiles, product list, booking link, or the information you give us directly.
How much is due when I start?
Your total depends on the prepaid calling balance you select. The $10 option makes the enrollment total $44.99. You may instead choose $25, $50, or $100. Every total includes the one time $25 setup fee and the first $9.99 monthly service payment. Calling minutes are prepaid at $0.25 per connected minute.
When will I be charged for more minutes?
You can use your entire selected initial balance. Additional usage is consolidated and billed through your Ask Sharifah Client Portal instead of creating a separate charge after every call.
Can I choose a larger prepaid calling balance?
Yes. At enrollment, you may choose $10 for 40 minutes, $25 for 100 minutes, $50 for 200 minutes, or $100 for 400 minutes. After your selected balance is used, additional usage is tracked and billed through your Ask Sharifah Client Portal.
Do my prepaid minutes expire?
No. Unused prepaid minutes roll over automatically and remain in your available balance while your Sharifah AI service is active. Your monthly renewal does not reset or remove unused minutes.
Where can I see my calling usage and available minutes?
You will receive access to your unique Ask Sharifah Client Portal. Sign in to view your total available prepaid minutes, minutes used, recent calls, payment status and Sharifah AI billing history.
What happens after I subscribe?
Please allow at least 24 hours to receive a call from Sharifah AI to set up your account. During the call, we will collect your greeting, services, business hours, common questions, transfer preferences, and important links. Sharifah AI will then configure and test your receptionist before it begins taking calls. You will receive confirmation after configuration and testing are complete.
Will I receive a business phone number?
Yes. A local telephone number is included with your service. You may select a toll free number during checkout for an additional $10 per month. Number availability and carrier requirements may vary.
Can it answer questions about my business?
Yes. Your receptionist answers from the business information and responses you approve. You are responsible for keeping that information accurate and current.
Can it take messages and capture leads?
Yes. It can collect the contact details and information you choose and provide call summaries based on your approved call flow.
Can it transfer calls to my cellphone?
Yes, live transfer can be included when it is appropriate for your setup. Transfers depend on phone and carrier availability, and transferred connected time may also be billable.
Is it available 24 hours a day?
It is designed to answer calls around the clock. Availability can still be affected by carriers, service providers, maintenance, or events outside Sharifah AI's control.
What happens if it does not know an answer?
It follows the fallback instructions approved for your business, such as taking a message or transferring the caller. It should not invent business information.
Can I change my greeting, hours, or business information?
Yes. Contact Sharifah AI with the requested update. Some changes may require review and testing before they become active.
What happens if my payment fails?
The receptionist may pause so additional unpaid charges cannot continue. Service can resume after the required payment is successfully completed.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Select Cancel My AI Receptionist in the pricing section or email sharifah@asksharifah.com from the email address associated with your subscription. Submit the request before your next renewal to stop future monthly charges. See the AI Receptionist Terms for billing and prepaid balance details.
